Hotel "Pearl of the Carpathians"L’viv oblast, Slavs’ke,
Small town of Slavs’ke is most developed recreation resort of the Ukrainian Carpathians. Tourist season lasts here throughout the whole year. In this resort we can see the Trostyan Mountain (1232m) , top of which we can reach with ski-lift, so that disabled people in wheelchairs have a great opportunity to admire beautiful views. The rocks of Dovbush and Kamyanka waterfall will also provide you with unforgettable impressions. One of few tourist centres with wide territory with recreation space for disabled people and accessible paths, mini-golf, playground, barbeque place and open-air swimming pool. There is 5 stairs at the entrance, but it is possible to use a provisional wheelchair access. In the nearest future we plan to provide a regular wheelchair access. In the main hall there is a reception, entrance to a restaurant and two half-luxurious double rooms. The doorsteps are 3cm high. All the front doors are 88cm wide. Bathroom and balcony doors are 67cm wide. There are double beds, TVs, fridges, phones in the rooms. The bathroom (1,4m x 2,5m) has a shower with no handles for disabled people. Recreation centre „Khrystyna” is situated along the way to the Trostyan Mountain ski-lift. There is 12 rooms in the centre, each for 2-3 people. All the doors are accessible for wheelchairs. So far the only historic building restored according to new Ukrainian standard „Buildings accessibility for citizens with limited mobility“. There are rooms especially for disabled people. |
